When you reach level 60 you will unlock the Titan Valley, which includes artifacts to upgrade your Titans. Along with titan artifact fragments, you have a very low chance of unlocking an Elemental Spirit Totem.
This totem is a very powerful addition to your titan team. However, you are guaranteed a totem after spending 4500 emeralds on Titan Artifact Spheres at the Altar of Elements.
The first two fragments you receive will always match the element of your highest-powered titan team at the time you get it. This means you can control which totem you get by making your preferred element stronger than all of the rest.
An easy way to determine which of your titan elements has the highest combined power is to select those units either in the Guild Battle tab found in chat or in the Guild War page where you select your titans for defense. Simply select all titans of the same element for a team, make note of the combined power and do the same for the other elements.
Because my Fire Titans were the strongest, I got the Fire Spirit. I want to guarantee I get the Water Spirit as my next totem, so I need to increase the power of my Water Titans by about 10,500 and keep them the strongest in order to do so.
There are some more ways to guarantee or improve the odds of obtaining Elemental Spirit Totems, but some require spending money.
1. Similar to how spending 4500 emeralds guaranteed your first Elemental Spirit Totem, you can keep spending emeralds on Titan Artifact Spheres to guarantee another at set intervals. The amount of emeralds needed to reach the next threshold increases exponentially, so it gets very expensive very quickly using this method.
The next threshold is spending a total of 45,000 gems, which includes the initial 4,500 you spent, so an additional 40,500 gems spent on Titan Artifact Spheres will guarantee an Elemental Spirit Totem.
If you get a Totem from any other source, then the number of gems needed to guarantee a Totem automatically increases to the next threshold.

2. After the Astral Season is over, the Elemental Season starts. If you buy the Gold Ticket for Elemental Season ($25 USD) and reach level 50 you will get a Lesser Elemental Spirit Summoning Sphere. According to the wiki, this one is completely random and is not dependent on your strongest element. If you plan to spend 40,500 gems, remember to do the first method before you claim this reward otherwise the threshold to the next guaranteed Totem will increase.
3. In past Winterfest special events, you were allowed to ask for a gift from Santa. Assuming the same event occurs this year, you pick one of three gifts you would like to receive, and you will randomly receive one of those gifts.
One of the possible gifts is a Lesser Elemental Spirit Summoning Sphere, which means it is a random Totem. So this is a possible way for f2p to get another Totem, though not guaranteed, and you will receive the gift on January 1st.
Because you choose from 3 gifts you would like to receive, other possible gifts are 10,000 emeralds or 350 Titan Artifact Spheres, which can be used to try to gain a Totem that way.
